Ancient symbol

The Enneagram is an ancient symbol with modern relevance. Its roots trace back to spiritual and philosophical traditions from the Middle East, North Africa, and Greece — where it was used as a symbol of universal patterns and inner transformation.

Evolved

In the 20th century, the Enneagram evolved into a dynamic map of nine personality types, thanks to the contributions of teachers like Oscar Ichazo. It was later refined and made widely accessible by authors, psychologists, and spiritual teachers across the world.
